Reverend Gwyon Thank all relevant deities that this is finally available! Even on the strength of the perfect, monolithic "Needlenose" alone—which some will remember as the closing song (credited as Buss) on the Expendable 2 BMX VHS—this album surely deserves to be a recognised part of the emo canon. Languish in obscurity no more!

about

Before Buss, the first "real" band I was in, there was Something Special Died. Same band, different name. This band originally formed in the basement of an abandoned (and now non-existent) butcher shop in Virginia, MN in the winter of '90/'91. By '93 we had all moved to Minneapolis. By '95 we had split up and moved to different cities. In '97 we regrouped in Minneapolis and put this album out in '98. As recording commenced before I moved back, Paul J. recorded bass tracks on most of these in my stead.
